Welcome to Stop Ardenvale Development (SAD)

We need your Help - Earlswood are at it again!

There is a new application for building on LITTLE WOLD and the fields behind.

WD/2023/2472 Click on the link and see the application

Their new ruse is:

Only 15 houses – only 5 affordable?
“A Farmstead development” – but it is new build?
A playing field for the school without facilities?

Is this better – NO!

The Number of Houses Do Not Matter

BECAUSE……

THE LAND IS AONB

FARMSTEAD DEVELOPMENTS ARE BUILT FROM EXISTING BUILDINGS

THERE ARE NO BUILDINGS ON THIS LAND

THIS IS AN ISOLATED ELEVATED HOUSING ESTATE AT THE EDGE OF THE VILLAGE OUTSIDE THE DEVELOPMENT BOUNDARY.

AND

THE DANGEROUS ACCESS ON STATION ROAD HAS NOT BEEN IMPROVED

THE DANGEROUS CROSSING OF BACK LANE IS THE SAME

KNOCKING DOWN A GOOD 4 BEDROOM FAMILY HOME

DARK SKIES WILL BE LOST DAMAGING THE ENVIRONMENT

WRITE NOW to object AS BEFORE BY EMAIL OR HARD COPY LETTER

WRITE BEFORE MONDAY 11 DECEMBER 2023

What you say against this development is important, we need you!, 170 letters of objection last time can we have even more?

Please tell you neighbours and friends

Just to be clear:

We are not against more housing in Groombridge, but we are against building on this location. The wrong buildings in the wrong place on AONB outside the existing development boundary.

It is NOT another Newton Willows. It is not a development on a brownfield site, a redundant railway goods yard in the centre of the village with existing access.
